Welcome to Tree Hugger Books, by the founders of Turtle Press, Turtle Arts, and dog eared magazine.

Our mission is to bring creativity and inspiration to your life while respecting nature and protecting and loving the Earth.

We believe that one of the best ways to preserve the precious resources of our Earth is to make art with and write in journals and sketchbooks made from tree free or high post consumer waste recycled papers. We extend this belief into our publishing practices and into our own artmaking, by using recycled and reclaimed materials, supporting businesses that provide footprint-offsetting, and by making the most environmentally sound choices possible.
